These terms cover your use of karttel, desktop software for analysing motorsport video. By installing or using it you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the software.
An active subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use karttel on up to two computers you own or control, for as long as the subscription is paid.
karttel and its source code remain the property of its author. You are buying a licence to use the software, not the software itself. Your recordings and the data derived from them are entirely yours.
karttel includes ffmpeg, used unmodified under the GNU Lesser General Public Licence version 2.1 or later; its licence text and source location ship with the application. Satellite imagery is provided by Esri and its suppliers and is subject to their terms. GoPro is a trademark of GoPro, Inc., which has no connection with this product.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt email; the software keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change, but not during a period you have already paid for.
karttel is provided as it is. Lap times, sector splits and coaching output are estimates derived from consumer GPS and motion sensors. They are not official timing and must not be relied on for competition, scrutineering, protests or any safety-related decision.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, liability arising from your use of karttel is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
The licence ends if the subscription lapses or if you break these terms. On ending, you must stop using the software and remove it from your computers.
karttel is developed in the United Kingdom by Oliver Mulveagh-Walker. For anything at all about the software, write to hello@karttel.co.uk and you will get a reply from a person.
Your purchase itself is made from Lemon Squeezy, who act as the seller of record. They take the payment, handle any sales tax, issue your receipt and can process a refund directly. Their own terms and company details are shown at checkout and on every receipt.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
